Order a unique, customized gift with our beautiful Birth Flower Commission! Perfect for Mother’s Day, birthdays or Christmas, this commission makes a great group gift for a family member or a wonderful heirloom! If you’re new to birth month flowers, they’re a tradition similar to birth stones - each month has it’s own particular flower (example: the flower for January is the Snow Drop). A birth flower commission is composed of flowers that match the month of everyone in the group or of the individual. Each of the flowers we offer are my original watercolor paintings, digitally scanned so they can fit easily with your custom order.

When you create your own commission with us, you can follow the birth flower trend or simply pick your (or their) favorite flower - the choice is up to you! If you would like to find a single birth flower for an individual or friend, you can find them here. We also offer quick processing time (up to 1 week max) and affordable prices for this valuable gift!

Our sizes and prices for the birth flower commission include …

  • 8 X 10 print for $40.00 plus tax - fits 2 - 4 flowers with names

  • 11 X 17 print for $50.00 plus tax - fits 5 - 9 flowers with names

Once you choose the size of your Commission, here are the features you can customize …

  1. Choose your own title (i.e. “Grandma’s Garden”, “Nana’s Garden” or “Papa’s Garden”) to fit your gift receiver, or choose no title.

  2. Choose decorations for your Commission title: we offer my paintings of Bumble Bees or Dragon Flies. We offer two - one on either side of the title - or only one to the left of right of the title

  3. We offer a full range of flowers that correspond with each month of the year, along with several that do not. Feel free to choose up to 15 flowers for your commission, depending on your group.

  4. Choose the frame for your flower names (see examples in the listing images) . We have a thicker frame with a solid white name background, a think frame with a semi-transparent background (so you can faintly see the flower stem), and a thin frame where both the frame and background are semi-transparent.

  5. If you have a unique customization idea, feel free to share it via email (emiliaroseartwork@gmail.com). We’ll be happy to see if we can creatively make it work!

We print your commission out of our home studio on quality art paper to reflect the look and texture of fine art watercolor. The print also comes without a frame. Creating and printing takes 3 - 7 days, and I’ll send you an image of your final commission for your approval before shipping. Once you’re satisfied, your Commission will ship to you within 2 - 3 days with USPS First Class shipping or via Express shipping if needed.
